Message from Founder

Hi, I’m Jeniffer Osorio, founder of Raza Coffee, and mum to two energetic boys, Jerónimo and Joshua.

My love affair with coffee started over 20 years ago when I arrived in Australia from Colombia. Like many newcomers, my first job was in a coffee shop. I did everything cleared tables, served customers, learned the rhythm of the café. Then one day I tried coffee for the very first time. That single sip changed everything.

I trained as a barista, fell in love with the craft, and loved how coffee could create community one cup at a time. But after my second child was born, life shifted. I stepped away from café life and spent my days at home with my little ones.

That’s when I discovered a problem I couldn’t ignore: making café-quality coffee at home is harder than it should be.

I bought a home machine. I tried to recreate that café moment. But day after day, the results were inconsistent one cup good, the next flat or bitter. I tried brand after brand, and still couldn’t find something that made “great coffee at home” feel simple.

And I kept thinking: if I’m struggling as a former barista, how hard is this for everyone else who just wants a delicious coffee without the fuss?

That question became Raza Coffee.

Raza exists for one purpose: to make life easier for people who want café-quality coffee at home without the jargon, the complicated gear, or the frustration. Just coffee that’s approachable, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable.
